Some health challenges began after serving in the Vietnam War. When I came back from Vietnam, I was eventually sent to Walter Reed Hospital since I had been part of the “Dust Off Unit." Here, I was assigned to ambulance detail. By now it was in the early 1970’s.When I was in the back of the ambulance, we knelt down in those days. Without warning, the ambulance took a turn and I got swung around in the back and hit one of the oxygen spickets. It hit my spine between L4 and L5. They had to take me to the hospital and at first, I was temporarily paralyzed.This back injury gave me problems for years. The Veterans Administration (VA) declared me 60% disabled as a result. I had limped on my left side because a nerve was affected. Without knowing, smoking had also deteriorated my bones. But I stopped smoking in 1993 and haven’t smoked since.SINCE STARTING ON X2O WATER, I have had no pain or discomfort! I joined Xooma Worldwide in 2011. Hello my name is Leana, I am the product of my products. I make this personal because if it had not been for the Lord and X2O, I probably would not be here to give my testimony. My journey has been long so I will give the short version. I was diagnosed with Lupus in 1994. So I contacted my friend Ken at Xooma's corporate office inquiring about Joint Health. After talking with him, I decided to try it. I already had 2 injections and physical therapy with no relief. And I was putting a lidocaine patch on every night trying to get some relief.

I have been using the Joint Health now 3 weeks and have only used 2 patches. So adding to my awesome testimony, I can add that Joint Health is helping my joint pain.

And that is my awesome Journey so far!

This is the first Xooma challenge I have participated in. Going into the Challenge I had several hopes as to what would happen in the 30 days. I was feeling tired, unmotivated, heavy and disappointed with how I had allowed my life to become. I needed a change and a new focus and direction. I had started the “Test the Water” pack and was starting to feel more energy.

Over the past few years, I had tried several “fad diets”, weight loss programs and the gym, and yet I just seemed to be getting heavier and bigger instead of fitter and smaller. After watching Crystal Andrus’ video, I felt inspired to try this challenge.

I initially thought this Cleanse would be about physical weight loss but I very quickly realized it was so much more. As I worked through the notes, audios and PDF files that Crystal sent out daily, I felt a much deeper healing and realization taking place. By participating in the weekly calls and the private Facebook group, I realized what a supportive community I was part of and I could feel my energy, motivation and courage growing almost daily. This community was warm and welcoming and they helped me to “catch up when I fell behind”, to step out in courage when I was afraid and to let go of things no longer serving me.

I feel like I’ve worn a mask for so many years that no one truly knows ME. But I’ve never really let people. That is changing... trust is so huge for me! I realized this when Crystal talked about trust. I have let my distrust hold me back and I really didn’t trust “who” I would become when I lost the weight! The past 30 days have opened my eyes and mind to so many things that I have been allowing to get in the way of my success.

My Challenge Highlights...

People often look at the “pros” and “cons” of big decisions they make. I look at my Challenge as a series of losses and gains.

What have I lost in the past 30 days?

I have lost my negative and judgmental thoughts about myself and choices I’ve made. I have lost my self-sabotaging instincts and my need to feel protected in my body. I have lost the shame and blame I felt for past failure. I have lost my negative self-talk. I have lost some of the clutter in my physical environment by working to organize and “clean up” the boxes still packed from my move over 5 years ago. I have lost a few pounds and inches as well. (I am especially excited about the 2 inches lost on my waist! By the time the holidays roll around I will need a new outfit!)

What have I gained in the past 30 days?

I have gained self-confidence, self-trust and the satisfaction of completing something life-changing. I have gained a spark to really reach for my goals and work towards a promising destiny. I have gained self-love that has made “me” a priority. I have gained an acceptance and healing of my past. I have gained some incredible habits, knowledge and supplements to make my body healthy and balanced. I have gained energy, clarity, determination, motivation and direction for my bright and beautiful future.

I have gained space... in my home, in my mind for positive, encouraging, and loving thoughts and in my body for healthy habits. I am eating better, sleeping deeper and feeling more hopeful and positive each day.

During this challenge I have lost 4.2 pounds and 6 total inches with the biggest change being my waist at 2 inches and chest at 1.25. I also lost 3% body fat and I’ve improved my push ups by 40% (from 11 to 18). I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in this Challenge. I look forward to continuing to use the Xooma supplements to uncover and unveil the BEST version of myself. After listening to the Brad King interview CD and reading his book on the MetaboWize program, I am committed to continuing to use this amazing program.

In May 2015, I will be 50! My celebration will be fabulous just as I will be “fit and fabulous” and celebrating life!

I'm an umpire and have to travel a lot as part of the job. All that traveling and being out on the field can be physically tiring, but since starting Xooma products, I have more energy and feel good. My knees don't give out on me and I don't have achy joints. People also tell me that my skin looks great for a 66 year old man.I have also changed my eating habits for healthier ones. I was able to lose weight, going from 52 in waist to 46 in. My umpire gear size has also changed - I went from a 3X to a 1X.  I noticed more of my weight loss/size loss and better energy levels after starting Xiome365. Not sure if it was the Xiome365 or a combination of that plus the other Xooma products I use that really helped. All I know is I feel really good when I take my Xooma products regularly.

Both my wife and I have been in the Xooma business for a couple years. And while we’ve used some of Xooma’s products and lost some weight, we never really tried hard to lose weight.

In November, we joined Xooma’s “Cleanse Your Life” 30-Day Challenge, with Crystal Andrus and her daily coaching program. We took pictures of ourselves before we began – back, side and front – so we could see our progress. In the past we’ve always felt like we had a difficult time when it came to losing weight. Even during this challenge, while we lost weight we didn’t lose as much as we thought. But here’s the exciting discovery we made.

In sizing, we both lost about three inches around the belly, but we gained inches other places. We realized we were building lean muscle! In total, I lost 14 pounds and my wife Melinda lost 15 pounds.

We bought the full package that included the MetaboWize System and other products. We took the MetaboWize Protein Fiber Shake, the AM Formula, the PM Formula and Assimilator. We always drank 4 bottles of water (Xooma’s 20-ounce bottles) with 2 sachets a day, FocusUP, and sometimes we used Nature’s Body Cleanse. We drank two shakes a day, plus three meals. And we didn’t even start exercising until 15 days into the 30-day program. (We got a treadmill and began walking 20 minutes every day.)

For a while Melinda got nauseated and didn’t know why. Once she started taking Assimilator not only with her meals but with the shake, it made a big difference and she felt great again. We found out that when you get older, it can sometimes be hard to metabolize high amounts of protein, like what’s in the shakes. It instantly made a difference for her.I’m also grateful for feeling as good as I do now. I was fighting a Staph infection for a long time, that I almost died from while in the hospital. Once I was home, I was on five major pain killers. My Staph infection is now gone and I’m off all of the pain killers. Not only do I feel better, I think that Xooma’s products have really helped detox my system from all this medication.

I’ve had Psoriasis for 10 years on the top of my ears and on my wrists. Having my ears and wrists flaking made me feel self-conscious of all the flakes.

I started drinking water with X2O and my ears have cleared up and only show minor redness. The change with my wrists happened after only 5 days of drinking Xooma’s X2O water. Now I have no more flakes!

WOW, I went to my doctor the end of October. I found out I have now lost over 120 lbs in the last year.

MetaboWize products are working for me! I eliminated 36 lbs in my first 4 weeks. My desire to eat and my appetite went way down. THE STORY IS WATER.My Problem18 MONTHS ago I weighed 282 pounds. For my height 5ft 4" this was considered overweight according to the BMI (Body Mass Index). I was always tired and according to my doctor I was at risk of developing diabetes. He told me I needed to change my diet and begin exercising to resolve my problems.
